The Story
The cottage sat on a small lake with no road in — reachable only by boat. The owners needed the cottage and shed fully cleared, and had arranged for a barge to come in and take everything out in one trip. Our job was the heavy lifting: go through every room, pull everything out, and stage it all neatly on the shoreline, organized so the barge operator could load it efficiently. Furniture, lumber, appliances, tools, and decades of accumulated cottage contents — all laid out clean and accessible at the water's edge. No truck, no transfer station run. Just a solid clearout, a well-organized shore pile, and everything ready when the barge arrived.
