The Story
This one ran the full length of the cottage side — a long wall of rotting cordwood logs stacked tight against the building. The logs had been there long enough that the bottom rows were completely rotted through. None of it was salvageable. We gave an honest upfront quote from photos, showed up the same week, and loaded it all out in one visit. The after photo speaks for itself: bare forest floor where the log wall used to be, clean all the way back to the treeline. Took the truck out and came back for a second load — the pile was bigger than it looked in the photos, but the price stayed firm.
Challenges & Solutions
Rotted cordwood breaks apart unpredictably — the bottom rows had to be handled carefully to avoid spreading debris across the property. We worked from one end to the other, clearing in sections and loading as we went to keep the site organized throughout.
